Monday night's episode of Love Island revealed the outcome of the public vote for the least compatible couple, resulting in Priya Gopaldas, 23 and Brett Staniland, 27 packing their suitcases once and for all.
After the result was announced to the Islanders, the dumped couple said their goodbyes and fans at home spotted Brad's outfit - particularly his choice of footwear - and let's just say they're obsessed and a little confused.
What was Brett wearing, you ask? For what would be his final appearance in the villa, the model and PHD student served up the classic fashion faux pas socks and sandals.

There was a lot of chatter about Brett's footwear on social media, with many users comparing his socks and sandals combo to Lelli Kelly school shoes and "Jesus sandals."
One fan said: "Brett is wearing Lelly Kelly's WITH SOCKS!!!!(sic)"
A second viewer shared: "Someone said Brett is wearing Air Bethlehem’s."

While a third referenced Priya getting the ick and calling off her romantic relationship with Brett. She tweeted: "IS BRETT WEARING SOCKS AND SANDALS?! Okay I’ve changed my mind - I’m with Priya."
And a fourth person wrote: "Not Brett wearing the unreleased Jerusalem 310’s."
Love Island fans were left baffled during Monday night's show as they heard the reason that Brett Staniland had given Priya Gopaldas the 'ick'.
Speaking to the girls after their couples' dinner, Priya said that she was put off by Brett because she finds him"boring" and didn't flirt with her enough.
Priya said that "even the cheese" Brett liked was boring, adding that she wanted him to pick something exciting and different, but he told her his favourite was "something like brie".

Although romance may not be in the cards for Priya and Brett, at least he had some impact as he walked through the door - literally.
