The upcoming 21st series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! will return will return to the historic Gwrych Castle, Abergele in North Wales, ITV has confirmed.

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, production on the series, which is usually filmed in Australia, was moved to Wales to ensure the 20th series could go ahead safely.

"We’ve always said we have contingencies in place for the series if the covid situation continued to bring uncertainty, and after a highly successful run at the castle last year we’re pleased that we can return there. I have no doubt the production team will produce another hugely entertaining series.

The news comes after showbiz correspondent Richard Arnold previously let slip that we won't be heading Down Under when the series returns later this year on Good Morning Britain in May.
