Holby City Preview Hints That Evie Will Die In Bomb Blast

We're on the edge of our seats waiting to find out what happens!

BBC has shared a preview of next week's Holby City which suggests Evie (Phoebe French) could die in a possible bomb blast.

As viewers will know, this week it was revealed that Cameron Dunn (Nic Jackman) had planted a bomb within the hospital.

You can watch the preview below:

In the clip, we see Cameron admitting to having 'set an explosive device to go off' with staff quickly learning there's a bomb somewhere in the hospital, and it could detonate at any time.

Meanwhile, as staff begin to panic, we see Fletch (Alex Walkinshaw) searching frantically for Evie - but will she get out in time?

"Get everyone out alive," screams Max, as Evie can be seen inside a lift.

"Hold on tight... #HolbyCity coming your way next Tuesday," said BBC.

And fans are on the edge of their seats waiting to find out what happens, whether the bomb goes off and if everyone inside the hospital will make it out alive.

One person commented: "Wow. Just watched last night's holby. Amazing acting and writing. Bit of a tearjerker. Then to finish with the surprise return. Can't wait for next week."

While another added: "The only person who needs sorting out is Cameron, evil is his name."

And a third said: "Holby City are evil, leaving it on a cliffhanger like that and realizing the best episode of the whole entire year so far is on during next week when I'm on Holiday, I'll probably catch it in the caravan."

Many think the returned Bernie might be able to save the day, with one person adding: "Eek, so excited and nervous. Bernie might be able to stop him... Hopefully. Come on Bernie."

And another wrote: "Wasn’t his mom an explosives expert in the army? Bernie’s here to save the day."

Holby City continues Tuesday 7th September at 7.50pm on BBC One.
