Harry Potter: Return To Hogwarts: Fans In Tears At Ron And Hermione's Sweet Moment In Reunion Show Trailer

Potterheads don’t have long to wait long until we finally head back to Hogwarts, as the trailer has finally dropped for Harry Potter: Return To Hogwarts.

The series celebrates 20 years since the release of the first film, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, and sees the actors reminisce about their time on set together in the wizarding world.

Naturally, fans of the Harry Potter franchise were thrilled to see our favourites back together again for one last hurrah, with famous faces such as Tom Felton, Bonnie Wright and Helena Bonham Carter making an appearance in the trailer to discuss what the wizarding world means to them.

But it was the tender moment between Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, aka Hermione and Ron, that set tongues wagging.

In the trailer, Grint is seen taking Watson’s hand, and saying to her: “It’s a strong bond that we’ll always have,” before pulling her in for a hug.

And many fans found themselves getting emotional at seeing ‘Hermione’ and ‘Ron’ back together again.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: “I just saw this image and my Hermione/Ron shipping heart just melted.”

A second gushed: “AHH! Ron and Hermione!” before punctuating their comment with hearts and crying emojis.

“I know this isn’t supposed to be Ron and Hermione but it looks like them, I’m sorry. Romione is my OTP [one true pairing],” said a third.

“Photos like this remind me that the ship between Ron and Hermione will never pass,” added a fourth, while a fifth said: “Romione!”

Others were thrilled to see Daniel Radcliffe, who played Harry in the eight films, also join Watson and Grint – with one particular line making them feel emotional.

“The last scene of the Harry Potter Reunion where Harry, Ron and Hermione laugh and say, we will always be family,” lamented one fan, adding a tearful emoji.
