The reunion of the century is almost here and to keep Potterheads hyped, a brand new first look image of the iconic trio in the Gryffindor Common Room has been released.
Watch the trailer below:
The three filmed a segment at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in Watford to reminiscence about filming one of the world's most beloved films.
Return to Hogwarts is set to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone which was released worldwide in November 2001.
A teaser was released on Monday hinting at the return of even more actors from the film franchise, including Helena Bonham Carter, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Isaacs, Gary Oldman, Tom Felton, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Bonnie Wright, Alfred Enoch and Evanna Lynch.
There are also hints in the trailer that there will be even more special guests who have yet to be announced.
The event will see the cast reuniting at Hogwarts where the magic started for an alumni reunion.
Fans were reduced to tears after seeing the trailer and many have started speculating which stars can be spotted.
Potterheads think the woman spotted reading the newspaper at the start of the teaser is Helena Bonham Carter as Bellatrix Lestrange. And other fans came to the conclusion the woman walking through the station at the end of the clip is Emma Watson as Hermione Granger.
Both stars are confirmed to return for the reunion and we're very convinced.
This is the first time members of the cast will be reuniting at Hogwarts since the conclusion of the film series, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part Two, in 2011.
The 20th anniversary special is exclusive to HBO Max in the US and Sky and NOW in the UK. It will be available to stream from New Year's Day, 1st January 2022.
