The Harry Potter reunion trailer has sent fans into a tailspin and not least because we are all wondering WHO is that character holding the newspaper at the beginning. But seriously, who is it?!
Some fans have suggested it could be Harry Potter's nemesis Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton) whereas others say it's someone more sinister like Bellatrix LeStrange (Helena Bonham Carter).
Others disagree and think it's a different character altogether and could be the whimsical Luna Lovegood.
In the initial opening scenes, a forehead can be glimpsed reading The Daily Prophet newspaper - but who exactly is it?

One viewer believes it's clearly Bellatrix, Voldemort's long standing sidekick played by actress Helena Bonham Carter. The viewer wrote: "We all recognized them as Bellatrix in 1st and Watson walking at the station."
However, some think it could be a more central character such as Hermione played by Emma Watson or even Draco Malfoy played by Tom Felton
One viewer shared their guess as Bellatrix, before another suggested it could be Luna or mystical Professor Trelawney played by Emma Thompson. Wading in on a debate, they said: "I think the woman is either Luna or Emma Thompson."

Whilst all that debate is going on, some fans are just happy to see their favourite characters returning to the screen. One Twitter fan wrote: "I can’t wait for this Harry Potter reunion on new year’s day".
Another shared: "So excited for Harry Potter reunion ".
Whether we know if the newspaper reader is a villain or hero, all will be revealed when the reunion airs on New Year's Day.
The trailer for the much awaited reunion was released and promises to reunite many of the main legendary cast members including Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint.

The reunion will mark twenty years since the first film was released and ten years since the franchise ended with its final film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.
Whilst fans were hyped for the reunion to drop, many have started to unpick the trailer to see who exactly will be coming back for the Return To Hogwarts in January. Fans have even said to be "in tears" at the news of the reunion being aired in less than a month's time.
The special reunion will premiere on HBO Max in the US and Sky and NOW in the UK on New Year's Day, January 1, 2022.
