Good Morning Britain: Laura Tobin Makes Shocking Joke About Host Charlotte Hawkins Live On Air

Good Morning Britain: Laura Tobin Makes Shocking Joke About Host Charlotte Hawkins Live On Air

Yikes!

We don’t know how these Good Morning Britain presenters do it – if we had to wake up at the crack of dawn every morning, we’d be perpetually grumpy.

And it looks as if the early starts may have got the better of the news programme’s weather presenter, Laura Tobin, after she made a savage jibe at her co-star, Charlotte Hawkins.

You can watch the cringey scenes below.

As Laura was presenting the weather report from outside a shopping centre in west London, Charlotte turned the conversation towards Christmas shopping.

“You know, I've spoken to so many people who have already done their Christmas shopping, and I haven't done any yet, I refuse to!” Laura said, to a stunned Charlotte.

Luckily, Charlotte did see the funny side (

And after Charlotte requested that Laura brought her back “something nice”, Laura replied: “I’ll bring back something nice for your face to improve it.”

The pair both giggled after a brief, stunned silence, and Laura laughed: “It just came out! I forgot we were on air.”

“You’re in so much trouble!” Charlotte replied.

“We love each other really!” Laura hurriedly added, before returning to the weather report.

Laura has become a firm favourite with early risers, with the meteorologist finding herself in a number of compromising positions while live on air.

As well as presenting what the weather will look like from the middle of a farm (surrounded by excitable sheep, we may add), she has also brought us the news while riding a rollercoaster at Thorpe Park.

In a bit of a fashion faux-pas, Laura opted to wear a skirt on the rollercoaster – not the ideal outfit choice when the winds are billowing, leaving host Ben Shephard admitting he felt uncomfortable.

When the roller coaster came to an end, and the likelihood of a very awkward fashion faux pas was off the table, Laura said: “The good news is that there is sunshine on the way. I didn't lose my shoes and I didn't show anyone my pants, so win, win, win!”
