Love Island Fans Are Calling Danny's Dad's Instagram 'The Best Thing They've Ever Read'

Love Island Fans Are Calling Danny's Dad's Instagram 'The Best Thing They've Ever Read'

Love Island fans managed to find Danny's dad on Instagram.

Love Island fans should also be called Love Island detectives because they managed to find bombshell islander Danny Bibby's dad on Instagram - and they think it's the best thing they have ever read.

Ricky Bibby, Danny's dad, only has three posts and they are all throwback pictures from when Danny was a child. The account has only 479 followers and has been made private after Love Island fans discovered it.

Before the account became private, a savvy Twitter user took a screenshot of the Instagram bio which is still visible. It reads: "Danny's dad. If you know where he is then I will give loads of embarrassing things about him on here. The boy is a b*llend but I love him to bits.

Twitter user @HannaClarke posted the screenshot and said: "Danny’s dad Instagram is the best thing I’ve read 'the boy is a b*llnd'"

It looks like Danny's dad might have a few fans of his own!

Ricky dad came to his son's defense on Friday after screenshots showing Danny using a racial slur went viral on social media.

On a photo posted in 2019, the heavily tattooed plumber from Wigan received a comment from a friend on a selfie, saying "Champ."

A reply from Danny's account from at the time read: "My n****", which led to many people demanding his immediate removal from the villa.

"Danny does not have a racist bone in his body and there were no racist intentions to this post," Ricky said. "Although it was not done maliciously, it was a mistake. I absolutely apologise on his behalf for the offence this wording may have caused. That would never have been his intention."

Love Island is on weeknights at 9pm on ITV 2 and ITV Hub. The episodes are available to stream on BritBox the following morning.
