Listen up, parents. Your lives just got a whole lot easier, because Netflix has promised to bring us three more seasons of its most popular kids show, CoComelon.
Offering up a spin-off to the original show, the new series, CoComelon Lane, will follow the kids baby JJ and his friends as they get up to all sorts of mischief.
The streaming giant has ordered three seasons in total, which is the equivalent of 24 seven minute episodes.

And that's not all. Netflix has also ordered four nursery rhyme compilation one-hour specials, which will start rolling out in 2022.
CoComelon has taken the world by storm since launching in June 2020, hitting the top 10 on Netflix in 29 countries, as parents and their kids binged it in one go.
Countries including the United States, United Kingdom, the Philippines and South Africa all lapped up the show and it remained in their top 10 for most of the year.

And as a result, it was officially confirmed to be Netflix's most popular show ever this week. Yes, ever.
To top it all off, Netflix has also commissioned another spin-off, Little Baby Bum: Music Time, which will be based on the kids' show Little Baby Bum's characters, and is due to be released in 2023.
The premise of this show will be to help preschoolers get to grips with stuff like rhythms, instrumentals and identifying sounds - the typical things you'd learn in a music class.
“With so many options available to kids and families, the popularity of Moonbug’s series on Netflix speaks volumes,” said René Rechtman, co-founder and CEO, Moonbug Entertainment.

“With original shows to fan-favourites like CoComelon and Little Baby Bum leading the charge, we want to give viewers even more opportunities to connect through their favourite characters, stories and nursery rhymes.”
We think this news is going to make a lot of kids very happy - and parents, too! Who needs a nanny, eh?
