We’ve been hooked on the Changing Rooms revival since it came back to screens, with the home makeover show being every but as iconic as we remember.
While some of the designs are a little…avant-garde for our tastes (a wall made out of hair? Really?) the best thing about the series is its eccentric head designer, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen – or ‘Larry’ as he refers to himself as.
And the most recent episode had us all in stitches, after Laurence accidentally scared the couple he was working with.

Watch the video below.
Unexpectedly bursting through, the poor woman in question screamed after Laurence entered the room, shouting: “It’s Larry”.
We’d have screamed too, to be fair – it’s like a scene straight out The Shining.

Naturally, Twitter found the moment utterly hilarious, as a user with the handle @ariadne_reviews summed up exactly what we were all thinking.
“Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen emerging like a vampire who doesn't understand social cues deserves a BAFTA,” they wrote, with the short clip quickly amassing thousands of likes.
Others agreed, with one person writing: “Massive What We Do In The Shadows energy!”

“Like an overbuoyant spring bursting from a badly reupholstered Victorian settee, Bowen certainly knows how to turn on the charm,” another added.
“I could watch it this on a loop forever,” a third joked, while a fourth likened the moment to Ainsley Harriott’s iconic This Morning moment: “Why hello Jill!”
Oh Larry. Never change.
In other Changing Rooms news, one of the programme's recent makeovers was dubbed "the worst ever" - and considering some of the monstrosities we saw on the show before, that's really something.

The drag-themed room featured a wall of blonde hair, for some reason. And while the lady in question claimed to love her new bedroom, viewers at home were less taken with that textured wall.
Reacting on social media, people had a lot of thoughts and feelings - and they weren't quite as polite.
"'A wall of hair, a strokeable art piece.' Dear God, no #ChangingRooms," commented one viewer.

"Even after 20 years or however long it has been. Just watching #changingrooms and it’s still f*cking horrific," someone else wrote.
Grim.
