Bodyguard Fans Lose It Over First Look At Vicky McClure's New ITV Drama Trigger Point

Vicky McClure has collaborated once again with producer Jed Mercurio to create the thrilling six-parter Trigger Point. The This Is England actress will star as a bomb disposal operative alongside Adrian Lester.
She shared a first-glimpse into the series on her Instagram page. An air date has not yet been confirmed, however, so fans will have to eagerly wait until 2022 for further updates.
Vicky will play Lana Washington, starring alongside Adrian's Joel Nutkins as they work for the Metropolitan Police Bomb Disposal Squad.
The pair have an inexplicably close bond, having previously served together in Afghanistan. They're forced into a terrifying situation as the terrorist threat over London escalates to imminent, with the squad urgently needing to find out the organisation behind it before time runs out.
Kerry Godliman, Ralph Ineson and Warren Brown will also feature.
Not for the faint hearted, Trigger Point is set to be another firm favourite among fans of Bodyguard and Line of Duty.
Vicky shared the teaser with her 652,000 Instagram followers. "Anyone catch it?!?" she said. "Here's ya first look at #TriggerPoint #countdownison".
ITV viewers expressed their excitement in the comments of the actress' Instagram post.
"Omg I can't wait!!" enthused one follower.

"Looks amazing! Can't wait!" said a third.
One Twitter user said "Trigger Point with @Vicky_McClure looks unreal. Very excited!"
Another joked "Trigger Point might be the catalyst for an actual Vicky McClure spiral tbh [sic]".

Meanwhile Vicky McClure enthusiasts were losing their minds at her consistently brilliant acting skills.

It's safe to say this series will have us glued to our screens.
