American Horror Stories: American Horror Story Spinoff Drops Today

American Horror Stories: American Horror Story Spinoff Drops Today

The 'twisted new anthology series' drops on Hulu for US viewers today.

Listen up, fans of the dark and gory. American Horror Stories has officially dropped today over in the US and it's promising to be a spooky ride.

The anthology series - which stems from the popular American Horror Story franchise - is made up of seven one hour standalone episodes delving into horror myths, legends and spooky tales.

Each episode is set to profile a different horror story, and while much of the plot has been shrouded in secrecy, the show's creator, Ryan Murphy, has teased that "many of these episodes will feature AHS stars you know and love."

So far, we only know episodes one and two's cast, which includes Gavin Creel as Troy, Sierra McCormick as Scarlett, Belissa Escobedo as Shanti, Kaia Gerber as Ruby, Matt Bomer and Michael and Paris Jackson as Maya.

We can also expect to see Aaron Tveit as Adam, Merrin Dungey as Dr Andi Grant, Ashley Martin Carter as Rowena, Selena Sloan as Erin and Valerie Loo as Nicole.

Other stars include Naomi Grossman as Rabid Ruth, Kevin McHale as Barry, Amy Grabow as Tipper Gore, Danny Trejo as Santa and Billie Lourd as Liv Whitley.

Episode one will be named Rubber (Wo)man: Part 1, and will centre around "a teenager and her Dads move into a forsaken home with a grim past. As the family makes renovations, a darkness takes root within them."

Meanwhile, the second ep, Rubber (Wo)man: Part 2, teaser reads: "Scarlett enters a twisted new romance while Michael and Troy are forced to confront their rocky relationship."

We don't know anything about the episodes after that, but what we do know is that AHS alum Sarah Paulson will be directing one of them - as if things couldn't get any better!

Expect lots of gore and terrifying moments (

The new series is going to air weekly on Hulu over in the US. But don't worry UK viewers, it's coming our way, too.

Disney+ tells Tyla that's it's landing on the streamer some time after the US launch. Although we don't have an official release date just yet, we'll be sure to update you as soon as we know more...
