Lorraine Kelly has hit out at Alec and Hilaria Baldwin for their 'bizarre' Halloween-themed Instagram posts.
Baldwin is currently partaking in investigations surrounding the accidental death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, following the discharge of a live gun on set of the movie Rust.

In an Instagram photo posted on 31st October, Hilaria posted a photo set of the family enjoying Halloween festivities.

According to the caption, the couple have experienced an 'intense' few weeks, particularly in regards to parenting their six children.
Despite the backdrop of police investigations, press conferences and public uncertainty, the Baldwins "railed to give [their family] a holiday".
The post has gained several celebrity supporters, including American Horror Story star Lesley Jordan - who said, "I cannot even imagine the chaos! But you two are doing a great job. Giving them a great childhood".

Despite this, often-outspoken TV host Lorraine Kelly criticised the pair on their choice of post.

She branded the photos "bizarre", stating that she wasn't sure what Alec was "supposed to be". The presenter concluded that it felt "strange".
She called the situation "very sad", but remarked that the family might've been better off celebrating the holiday in private. "They don't necessarily need to share that at this particular time," she said.
Hutchins, the 42-year-old cinematographer, was fatally shot by Baldwin on the set of abandoned Western movie Rust. Paramedics tended to her at the scene of the accident, but she later died in hospital. Director Joel Souza was also injured. having been shot in his right arm.

The director recently detailed his version of events in a statement to the police, claiming that Baldwin has accidentally shot the pair while rehearsing a specific shooting scene.
Police confirmed in a statement issued last week that investigations are ongoing, and they 'haven't ruled out' charges at this particular time.
