Not even Lady Whistledown could've predicted this.

If you're looking for a gift for Valentines Day - one that would be perfect for any ball - look no further.

You can now get a Bridgerton-inspired cake delivered through your letterbox in time for the big day.

Online bakery, Bakerdays, are offering a bespoke Bridgerton cake. The cake features an image of the Duke and Daphne Bridgerton and there's space for you to add and personalise the text at the top of the cake.

You can add a line to personalise the cake, be it the name of your loved one, a Valentine's Day greeting or a sentimental message.

In keeping with the Bridgerton theme, why not add one of the delightful quotes from the show such as "an expert in the art of the swoon" by Lady Whistledown herself would be most fitting.

The letterbox-sized cake serves 2-4 but there are a variety of other sizes, including medium cakes which serve between 18-25 and larger cakes that serve as many 40-55, and can be hand delivered to the door.

You can also customise the recipe to match your tastebuds. There's traditional sponge, chocolate chip, lemon drizzle and fruit on offer. There are also options for different dietary needs including vegan sponge, dairy free sponge and gluten wheat free sponge.

In related Bridgerton news, the Regency romp was crowned Netflix's biggest series era, taking the coveted title away from The Witcher.

Produced by Shonda Rhimes, the drama has been watched by a record 82 million households globally. Thankfully, the show has already been renewed for a second season.

Season 1, which dropped on Christmas Day, follows Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) as she falls for Duke Simon Bassett (Regé-Jean Page) - a handsome singleton who has caught the eye of just about everyone in Regency-era London.

After weeks of building a rapport and a lot of side-eye in the ballroom, they soon realise there are real, intense feelings between them after they quickly elope to save Daphne's reputation.

If this isn't romance, I don't know what is.
