Over 60 More Nando's Restaurants Have Opened Today
Garlic bread. Creamy PERinaise. Mouthwatering coleslaw. PERi salted chips. These are just some of the Nando's favourites we've been dreaming about since the chain temporarily closed due to coronavirus.
Okay, maybe not the PERinaise - we have to admit we've been buying that by the bucket load during our weekly shops.
But if you've been missing Nando's as much as us, good news - the chicken chain has just reopened a further 61 restaurants across the UK.
To celebrate, they're even offering free delivery for the next two weeks! Yaaass.
The exciting announcement means there are now 216 Nando's restaurants currently available for delivery across the UK, the majority of which are also available for collection.
In line with government guidance, orders must be placed online to avoid queues and keep staff and customers safe.
There is also a reduced menu to help the team maintain social distancing in the kitchens, but fear not, the majority of the chain's favourites, such as butterfly chicken, halloumi sticks and PERi salted chips are all available - phew!
The team are also working under strict health and safety procedures, with each staff member washing their hands more frequently and maintaining social distancing. PPE is also available for all staff to wear.
Deliveries will also be as safe as possible, with drivers maintaining distancing while picking up orders and contactless delivery also available on request.
Nando's fans are encouraged not to travel to the restaurant unnecessarily unless they are picking up an order at their allotted time (this is to avoid queues).
The chain is also implementing a chilli reward system, so loyal fans can earn points and PERi-PERi-based rewards with every order! *And* for two weeks, starting today, there'll be free delivery from each restaurant.
You can find all 216 restaurants listed here - fingers crossed your local has made the cut! Mind you, we would travel far and wide for a PERi chicken wrap RN...
