First, there were triple pigs-in-blankets. Then, there were cheesy pigs-in-blankets. And just when you thought it was over, then came pigs-in-blankets perfume.

Yep, that's right, an actual fragrance made to smell like pork-wrapped-in-pork.

Appropriately named Eau de Pigs in Blanket Parfum, it's part of a limited edition collection by PerfumeDirect.com which also includes Christmas pudding and stilton fragrances.

Developed by a bespoke fragrance specialist, the range pays homage to the nation's favourite festive foods.

Available on Perfume Direct's website, the set of three 10ml bottles will be the best £59 you've ever spent.

With pigs-in-blankets recently crowned as the top trimming by 59 per cent of the nation, the pork-perfumed scent promises to leave lingering notes of bacon, sausage, smoked spice and clove on its wearer, making Christmas 2019 one to remember.

The Scent of Stilton has notes of buttermilk, cheese and phenols, while Eau de Christmas Pudding is predicted to be the most popular of the three fragrances with top notes of berries, citrus, almond and apple, complemented by vanilla, clove and cognac.

Jonny Webber from Perfume Direct said: "This set would make the perfect gift for that hard-to-buy-for friend or relative who loves Christmas. It could even make a fun Secret Santa present.

"Our choice of fragrances were the result of a survey into which smells remind people most of Christmas - with stilton, Christmas pud and pigs-in-blankets coming out top. And by creating a perfume capturing these notes, the magic of Christmas can last and last way beyond Boxing Day.

"A pigs in blanket perfume may seem a crazy idea, but it is actually quite nice. My favourite is most definitely the Christmas pudding one, but that's my favourite."

Be right back, just going to buy a set for every relative we have.
