Walkers Officially Confirms Monster Munch Crisps Are Claws Not Little Monsters

Well, that's settled it!

Guys, the debate is officially over. Walkers has confirmed that its Monster Munch crisps are in fact claws, not little monsters.

For many, many years fans have been divided over the very important issue. Is it a claw, or is it a monster with arms and legs?

And things hit a new level last month, when Walkers released limited edition packs containing new "monster shapes" alongside claws.

Some fans went as far as to say one shape tasted better than the other, but of course, the crisps are completely identical to each other, it just depends on which way up you hold them.

So, in a bid to end the madness, Walkers took the decision to the people, giving fans the final answer via a social media poll.

Over 60,000 fans took to the poll to cast their votes, but it was the claw shape that came out on top.

Will Robinson at Walkers said: "Claw or Monster is a debate that has continued to divide British opinion as much as whether or not you put jam or cream on your scone first, or whether that famous dress was gold or blue.

"Therefore we felt it was only right to settle the debate once and for all, through launching our 'Monster' and 'Claw' shaped packs and asking the fans to decide - and now they have spoken.

"So moving forwards it won't be open to debate - they are officially 'claw' shaped forever more. Or until our innovation team gets restless, at least."

Of course, the poll has caused quite the stir on Twitter, with adamant monster voters determined their voices be heard.

One person said: "Monster Munch crisps are in the shape of the monsters, not the claws!"

But with Walkers referring to them as "the original claws" it certainly seems this case is closed. Either way, claw or little monster, they still taste great and that's all that matters, right?!
