Tap13 in Tooting, London serves espresso martinis on tap, and we are one hundred per cent behind it.

Although at first you might see it as a pretty convenient way of getting your favourite cocktail refilled, there is actually an amazing environmental reason behind the ideal.

The bar, located in Broadway Market, is aiming to generate zero waste while still giving its customers the best drinks possible.

So, you can happily sip on your martini for £8 while knowing you are doing your bit for the environment.

It's easy to go from the glass to the tap to your mouth and repeat (and repeat...).

The bar features a unique wall with 13 taps to fill your glass with a cocktail, wine, beer, cider or a frizzante.

There are four craft beers, two different ciders, three types of wine, three cocktail flavours and just one frizzante to treat yourself to.

There are 13 taps to choose from. (

The bar is small and personal with just 12 seats inside, but you can also sip on your espresso martini in the market's communal seating area, or take the drinks to have in other nearby restaurants.

Each pre-mixed cocktail is sourced from One Point Eight in recyclable kegs specially designed to be served on tap to save waste and time.

The website reads: "As much as possible, we try to reduce our carbon footprint. We've chosen to source our spirits and wines without all the bottles, and we package our cocktails in 5L or 10L Bag-in-Box, or 20L Key Kegs.

"For you, this means a whole lot less waste and you can drain our cocktails to the very last drop. No longer will you need to order and store multiple ingredients, just one."
