Ever had that feeling your dream job is out there somewhere, but you just haven't found it yet? Trawled all the job application sites for hours on end but found nothing that quite fits your unique skillset?

Well, look no further. Because now you can actually get paid to stuff your face with kebabs - an occupation you've probably nailed through years of practice every Saturday night anyway.

Yep, this Autumn, The Botanist is offering one lucky food lover the chance to be their hanging kebab taster.

The pub and bar chain - which has 19 branches across the UK - will pay the successful candidate £500 to try out the four new hanging kebabs they're planning to add to their menu.

And that's not all. Oh, no. You'll also get a year's supply of hanging kebabs thrown in, too.

The new skewers you'd be tasting include chicken and chorizo, surf and turf, spiced duck with hoisin sauce and a vegan Tofurkey sausage version.

The Botanist's website reads: "Are you a self-confessed kebab connoisseur? Do you have a signature sauce and side combination?

As well as trying the kebabs, the job description claims the successful applicant will be tasked with "deciding the perfect drink to accompany" them, which basically means trying out cocktails, right?!

They will also have the chance to develop new hanging kebab options for the chain's 2020 menu.

If you're chosen, after completing the taste test, you can return to The Botanist every month in 2020 with a plus one and enjoy a hanging kebab meal for two - plus a limited edition pancake kebab on Pancake Day.

And if they like your brainstorming you could even have your own hanging kebab creation added to your local Botanist's Spring Specials menu.
