​Tesco Is Selling A Deliciously Festive Baileys Yule Log And It’s Only £5

Tesco is selling a Baileys Chocolate Yule Log for £5 ,and to be honest we couldn't think of anything more festive.

Nothing says Christmas quite like a large glass of Baileys and a slice of chocolate yule log to indulge on, so why not combine them both together? It seems obvious when you think about it.

Smothered in a Baileys flavoured frosting, we definitely know what we'll be having for dessert on Christmas Day. (and every other day up until then).

The cake, which serves 8 people, s a chocolate lover's dream.

An official description on Tesco's website reads: "A soft chocolate sponge, rolled with a chocolate flavour frosting and coated with milk chocolate, masked with a Baileys® frosting and finished with bronze lustered chocolate curls and a chocolate plaque."

Chocolate, more chocolate and Baileys - it sounds like an absolute dream come true.

Tesco has confirmed that you don't need ID to buy the cake, and it is suitable for vegetarians.

It's also a good job that Christmas is the season to indulge yourself, as one serving of the cake comes in at a hefty 273 calories.

If you really want to treat yourself you could always serve a slice of the yule log with Bailey's 'Chocolate Secret' ice cream.

The Irish cream liqueur brand has launched 'chocolate secret' ice cream, and it contains 13 per cent alcohol, so you could potentially get tipsy off a tub of this depending on how much you eat in one sitting.

Baileys says that its delish ice cream is smothered in rich, chocolate sauce and the frozen treat tastes like the bourbon-based spirit.

Supermarket giant Tesco is selling 500ml tubs of the stuff for £4.50, and you can also pick up a pot online from Ocado for a slightly pricier £4.99.

Because it contains alcohol, you will need to be over 18 to buy some of the 'chocolate secret'.

The boozy ice cream would be delicious in chocolatey milkshakes, or you could scoff it straight from the tub with a spoon while you binge-watch Netflix this autumn.
