Who says pigs in blankets are just for Christmas? Sainsbury's has dropped a fun new twist on the festive snack just in time for the summer months.
Introducing pigs in beach towels. Made of jumbo pork sausages wrapped in bacon, the delicious new snack is pretty much the same as you'd get over the holidays, but bigger... and thanks to a handy new name, they're suddenly acceptable to eat again.

Made of jumbo British pork sausages wrapped in chestnut smoked streaky bacon, the double piggy treat is bound to go down well at barbecue's and garden parties this summer.
As part of the supermarket's Summer Edition, they dropped in stores and online nationwide from 28th April, and are selling seasonally, for £4.50.
They come after Christmas 2020 saw Sainsbury's sell over 20 million individual pigs in blankets - proving a demand which couldn't be ignored by the foodie brains behind the range.

Other additions to the Summer Edition include their brand new feta and spinach parcels (£2) and falafel balls (£2), while there's a sweet potato falafel option too (£2.50).
Harissa lamb and chicken koftas are also available in store as part of the range, for £2.50, while you can also shop Raw Chilli & Garlic Prawn Skewers as part of the Summer Edition (£4) and Summer Edition Tandoori Vegan Kebabs (£2.50) for those looking for a plant based option.
Sainsbury's Halloumi & Vegetable Kebabs with Sweet Chilli Glaze are also on sale, for £3.75, while you can also bag some Summer Edition Mexican Corn Fritters (£2.50).
If you're planning a picnic, there are also plenty of snack-y options, including seasonal Spanish Chargrilled Baby Artichokes, costing £3, and a Chargrilled Sweetcorn Dip (£2).

Summer Edition Chicken & Chorizo Empanadas are also available for £2.50, while Cheesy Jalapeno Pastries (£2.50) are on offer as well.

While you're in Sainsbury's, the supermarket is also selling a Lotus Biscoff cheesecake.
The delicious dessert is made by the English Cheesecake Company, and features a decadent cream cheese filling, topped with delicious Biscoff spread, and loaded with biscuity crumbs on a crunchy Biscoff biscuit base.
