It might not feel much like summer with this lacklustre weather, but we've got some news which is sure to brighten your day.

You'll soon be able to pick up Pimm's ice lollies in Waitrose stores.

As part of the POPS range, the Pimm's lollies will be available from 2nd June onwards, alongside another Bellini flavoured lolly.

The PIMM's popsicle is a world first, and is made from Pimm's No.1, lemonade, real strawberries and wonky cucumbers. It's also 4.3 per cent ABV, which is pretty boozy for a lolly.

Meanwhile, the Bellini is created using real Prosecco, a dash of Peach Schnapps and blood oranges, coming in at a 3.8 per cent ABV.

They'll be retailing for £3.50 for a pack of three. However, as part of a 'Great British Summer' promotion, you'll be able to bag the frozen treats with an introductory 25 per cent off.

The lollies are made with natural ingredients, and they're also vegan friendly and gluten and dairy free.

Lucille Kavanagh, Waitress Ice Cream Buyer says: "We are excited to introduce Pops to customers. They're fun, delicious and perfect for summer and we can't wait to hear what people think of them.

While Andrew Ashby, POPS MD comments: "We are excited to be re-launching this iconic British product and thrilled to be partnering with Waitrose."

In other Pimm's related news, the popular summer drink has also launched a new 'Sundowner' flavour - and it sounds absolutely delish.

Described as the 'perfect aperitif to enjoy as the sun goes down', the fruity bev is available now.

The delicious drink is vibrant red in colour, featuring both raspberry and tart redcurrant flavours.

"Come rain or shine, Pimm's Sundowner is the perfect aperitif to enjoy as the sun sets with its vibrant raspberry colour and subtly bittersweet taste," Pimm's teases in a statement.

The fruity tipple is available to purchase exclusively in Sainsbury's stores for £15 for a 70cl bottle.

Anyone else feeling a bit more summery, now?
