People Are Campaigning To Have Pigs-In-Blankets Sold All Year Round
The mouth-watering festive trimmings, which are noticeably absent from supermarket shelves for the ten months of the year between January and November (what's with that?), are a heavenly dream of chipolatas wrapped in streaky bacon.
PIBs are pretty much the only component of the festive meal that matters, and they're wasted by not getting the year-round spotlight they so deserve.
In fact, they are so delicious that people are actually campaigning to have them sold for the entire calendar year. Now there's a cause we can fully get behind.

People's hero Sam Goodenough from London began the appeal on change.org last year, writing: "Pigs in blankets are only available for one or two months a year."
He added: "I, as the voice of the nation want to put this right. Year long pigs in blankets for everyone."
But shockingly, the petition has only amassed a measly eight - YES EIGHT - signatures thus far. These numbers are quite frankly pathetic and something needs to done about it.
"This is a petition to make pigs in blankets an all year round thing," wrote one person on Twitter.
"Starting a petition for pigs in blankets to be on a standard cooked dinner and not just on a Christmas dinner," tweeted another.
"Petition for pigs in blankets to be a all year round food because I cannot wait till December for them again," said a third.
But despite the cause's support, only one person has put their pen where their mouth is and actually started a petition.
If you're passionate about this cause, sign the petition and we might finally see the change this country needs.
