Matcha green tea KitKats are finally coming to the UK, 15 years after first launching in Japan, Nestlé confirmed.
The confectionery company revealed they will start selling its hugely popular Matcha green tea flavoured KitKats in Europe later this month after years of demands from European customers.
Matcha green tea KitKats were first introduced in Japan back in 2004, and UK KitKat lovers have been yearning for them to come into production in Britain ever since.
If you're not familiar with the green tea chocolate already, you might get a bit of a surprise when you see they're actually bright green in colour - unlike the standard brown milk chocolate bars.

This comes from the green tea matcha powder, which is the main ingredient mixed with cocoa butter and white chocolate to create the confectionary which has a "sweet and fragrant flavour."
Nestlé is making the matcha green tea bards in its factory in Hamburg before rolling them out across 18 European countries, Bloomberg reports.
Germany, Italy and Switzerland are among those joining the UK to be graced with the tasty new treat. If they prove to be a success - which we're fairly certain they will, the brand will then extend to wider areas.

The new launch comes after the huge success of the famous Ruby chocolate KitKats, which are set to launch nationwide thanks to its popularity in Tesco stores last year.
Alexander von Maillot, global head of confectionery at Nestlé, said: "The launches of KitKat Ruby and KitKat green tea matcha are further proof of our commitment to our leading international confectionery brand.
"We have introduced other innovative flavours and premium products to KitKat, KitKat Chunky and KitKat Senses in recent years and there is more to come."
The matcha green tea KitKat is one of more than 350 different variations of KitKats being sold in Japan, so hopefully that could mean more exciting flavours could soon be heading our way.
