Missing PERi PERi chips, Macho Peas and spicy wings during lockdown?

Well, good news, because the chicken mavericks at Nando's are set to share some of their most popular recipes with the public in a brand new series.

Translation: you could soon be knocking up your favourite medium-hot thighs combo meal in the comfort of your own kitchen.

Mmm, we can smell the Perinaise already.

The six-part virtual series, titled Bring the Heat Home, kicks off Thursday 23rd April at 7pm, and will be available to watch on video app IGTV.

The series follows a celeb cook-a-long, with famous faces put through their culinary paces by Nando's Head Chef Tim as they recreate Nando's signature dishes from home.

Among the confirmed line-up are British rapper Aitch, rising RnB star JGrrey, and footy star Jesse Lingard.

Ahead of each episode, Nando's will share recipe cards on its social channels so that its loyal fans can buy ingredients, cook-along - and get a much-needed Nando's fix while they're at it!

So, the vital question, which recipes will the stars be cooking?

Soulful crooner JGrrey is first up on 23rd April. She'll be trying her hand at her favourite PERi PERi chicken thighs accompanied by Spicy Rice and Macho Peas.

Yes. Please.

In second is Manchester's finest Aitch on 30th April. For his meal, the rapper will be attempting his go-to combination of PERi PERi Chicken Wings, PERi salted chips and garlic bread.

No pressure, Aitch.

Third is sports star Jesse on 7th May. He'll be making a personalised take on the PERi PERi chicken pitta with halloumi and Rainbow Slaw.

News of the upcoming series has naturally sent fans of the chicken chain wild.

"I can't wait for this!" wrote one.

Another begged: "Please share the recipe for saucy spinach!"

While a third approving commentator added: "Aitch and nandos... my two fave things in the same place!"

We're salivating already. Bring on the Nando's cook-along, from 7pm every Thursday.
