Nando's Has Launched A Spicy Garlic, Pineapple And Coconut Chicken Wrap

Nando's has launched a brand new menu item and it looks equally messy and tasty AF.

If you, like us, are partial to a cheeky Nando's, then you're going to want to stop and take note of their new menu addition.

While you might think you don't want to stray from your usual order of a medium sunset burger and PERi-PERi chips, we're pretty sure the sumptuous Mozam wrap has what it takes to sway you.

Inspired by the black, yellow, red and green colours of the Mozambique flag, the tangy chicken wrap is a true tribute to the birthplace of PERi-PERi.

The wrap is stuffed with spiced chicken, a red hot PERi-PERi sauce, green lettuce, black garlic sauce, yellow pineapple and a tasty coconut chutney.

And because the burgers are stuffed with not one but *three* sauces, the restaurant have even introduced giant napkins in some of their stores for a limited time only to combat the inevitable drippage.

These napkins measure at 48cm x 48cmm, and are sure to catch every last sweet, tangy drop. Genius.

When the restaurant announced the product on their social media, it teased: "Hot mess alert. Introducing our sticky, sweet and incredibly saucy Mozam Wrap".

And it didn't take fans long to voice their approval.

"Holy sh*tballs," one wrote, while another added: "I need this in my life".

A third concurred: "NEED TO TRY NEED TO TRY NEED TO TRY," as a fourth agreed: "Il deffo be getting myself one of these (sic)".

Safe to say it's gone down a treat so far, then!

The wrap became available in Nando's restaurants across the country on Monday, and gives 50p from each sale to Nando's Fighting Malaria.

The campaign was originally launched back in 2017 to help fight malaria in Mozambique, in a bid to one day stop the life-threatening - and most importantly preventable - disease for good.
