M&S Now Sells Chilli And Cheese Hot Cross Buns For Easter

Easter is great and all, but if you're not a fan of all things sweet and chocolatey then you can sometimes feel a little left out while everyone's snacking.

But fear not, because Marks and Spencer is now stocking the perfect savoury seasonal snack - a Chilli Cheese Hot Cross Bun.

The tasty buns come in packs of four, and are made with West Country Farmhouse Cheddar, caramelised and dried fried onions, dried red and green jalapeno and chipotle chillies, with Worcester and hot pepper sauces.

So, it's safe to say, they're not for the faint hearted!

One four pack usually costs £1.50, but if you want to stock up, you can get your hands on two packs for just £2.50.

And what's more, if you're super quick you can grab them even cheaper, as the four-packs are on promotion for just £1 from now until Saturday.

Posting on their official Facebook page, M&S unveiled the brand new offering, teasing: "Hello new flavour alert!"

Echoing the store's much loved catchphrase, it wrote: "These are not just hot cross buns.... These are NEW Chilli and Cheese Hot Cross Buns. Visit us instore to toast the start of the Easter season".

And many happy shoppers were quick to flock to the comments telling others they'd already tried the buns, and gushing that they were worth the hype.

"Had them for Lunch. They are great," one person wrote in the comments.

While another added: "Tried these today! Totally delicious and thumbs up from everyone in our house."

A third agreed: "We tried these this morning and they are AMAZING!!!! Nice little kick of chilli and nicely cheesy it really works!!!"

Of course, if spice isn't your thing, M&S will be selling Cassic Hot Cross Buns too - packed full of juicy fruit, mixed peel and a unique spice blend.

Plus, the supermarket is also rolling out a Salted Caramel Hot Cross Buns, packed with dark Belgian chocolate chips, salted caramel fudge and toffee pieces. Yum.

Both varieties come in at the same price as the savoury buns, while a four pack of gluten free Hot Cross Buns can also be purchased for £2.
