We *need* to try these.

Ice cold passion fruit juice. Vanilla-infused vodka. A twist of citrusy lime. Mmm, is there anything better than a chilled Pornstar Martini?

Not in our book, so we're thrilled that the clever folks at M&S have put a new twist on the fan-favourite cocktail.

It's delicious, it's pink, and it can be enjoyed straight from the tin. Just how the cocktail gods intended, eh?

The latest addition to M&S canned drinks range is the Pink Passion Star Martini, priced at £2 for 250ml.

It's the delicious sharp-sweet cocktail that we all know and love, but with a fresh fruity kick of raspberry.

The raspberry flavour blends like a dream with the quintessential Pornstar Martini ingredients of passionfruit and vanilla.

M&S launched its original Pornstar Martini in a can back in 2018 and it quickly became a bestseller. The name was changed to Passion Star Martini in 2019 (

The final result reminds us a little of a boozy take on that summertime favourite, raspberry ripple ice cream.

Oh, and did we mention that the drink comes with two measures of vodka?

We'll be needing that during lockdown, please and thanks.

M&S launched its original Pornstar Martini in a can back in 2018.

In 2019, the chain changed the name of the drink to Passion Star Martini, after Watchdog said its previous name breached rules by associating alcohol with sex.

Despite the name change debacle, the tinned cocktail was a hit and became a bestseller, even knocking the classic M&S canned G&T of the top spot.

M&S Product Developer Jenny Rea said: "Our Passion Star Martini was a huge hit with customers when it launched a few years back - shooting to the number one bestseller spot of our ready-to-drink cocktails (taking the G&Ts crown).

"We thought what better way to add a summery twist than making it pink with the addition of raspberry. It's fruity, fresh and delicious - perfect for the coming summer months."

We'll be sipping a few of these in our garden on Friday, which promises UK temperatures higher than those in Ibiza. Lockdown just got that little bit easier.

Passion Star Martini cocktails are available to buy from M&S stores now. The canned drinks are 8% ABV and cost £2 for a 250ml tin.
