Marks & Spencer has launched a festive treat that's set to divide foodies all over the UK this Christmas and it all revolves around Marmite.

The iconic high street shop is bringing out a new savoury treat called the Mini Marmite Cheesy Crumpets just in time for the festive season. The freshest addition to its party food range, we're sure these will be a talking point among families this Christmas.

And, whether you love it or hate it, these Marmite flavoured crumpets sound delicious - we're firmly on the side of loving them - and launch in stores this week.

According to the product's description, consumers can expect a "light spongey crumpet, topped with a moreish mix of gooey cheese rarebit and melty Marmite:tm:" and we're here for it, tbh.

Retailing at £7 for a pack of 10, this is party food at its finest - and since we're all stuck in during lockdown, we'll be enjoying these on our own.

These yummy crumpets aren't the only Marmite offering that M&S has launched recently. This new invention is the fifth addition to the range and follows the hugely popular Marmite Cheese Slices that dropped earlier this year. Also part of the collection is the Marmite Cream Cheese and Marmite Butter, both perfect for spreading over toast.

Cheese lovers take note too, as two new dips are also joining the M&S family this Christmas. Based around family favourite meals condensed into dip form, these delicious sounding accompaniments are the newest additions to M&S's party food collection.

Look out for the Seriously Saucy Lasagne Hot Dip (£4), a meaty ragu, rich béchamel and oozy mozzarella dip perfect for tapas dishes.

Meanwhile, the Pepperoni Power Hot Dip (£4) packs a serious punch. This spicy tomato, pepperoni and gooey mozzarella dip serves up well on bread, crackers and raw veg, a far cry from our usual WFH lunches.

BRB, just popping to the shops.
