McVitie's Drops Its Christmas Range Including Orange And Cranberry Jaffa Cakes

McVitie's has unveiled its Christmas range, and we're already so excited to be munching it all by the tree.

Retailing at various UK grocery stores from mid-September - including big supermarkets like Tesco, Sainsbury's, ASDA and Morrisons - some of our favourite OG products have been given a seasonal twist.

And, quite frankly, we wish they sold these flavours all year round.

The most exciting new release has to be the Orange and Cranberry Jaffa Cakes (RRP £1.20) which, like the traditional snack, is an "original blend of dark crackly chocolate, light sponge and a smashing orangey centre".

But this time the chocolatey treat has been enhanced with warming, wintry flavours of cranberry to add an extra special twist.

Mmmm.

Also in the Christmas lineup, McVitie's will soon be selling its legendary Milk Chocolate Digestives in two new flavours.

Yep, you'll be able to get a Christmas Pudding flavoured biscuit and a Gingerbread flavoured biscuit for the festive period, and they are sure to put you in a truly festive mood.

Priced at a RRP of £1.50 for a packet, the digestives are perfect to fill up the family biscuit tin when everyone's round for the holiday season.

But we won't tell if you just want to munch them all yourself!

For £8, you'll also be able to get your hands on an 180 Year Heritage Tin, to honour the 2019 milestone of 180 years as Britain's Biggest Biscuit Brand.

In honour of McVitie's historic birthday, the keepsake tin is made up of selection of chocolate biscuits, cookies and creams.

When it comes to selection boxes, you'll also have the choice of the McVitie's Victoria Collection - stuffed full of 50 delicious biscuits - and the Family Circle box - with all the OG favourites, like Jammy Dodgers, Chocolate Digestives and Custard Creams.

The Family Circle box comes in sizes 310g, 620g and 1.24kg, depending how many people you have to feed, and retails at £3.09, £4 and £5.49 retrospectively.

Meanwhile, the McVitie's Victoria box sells in 300g, 600g, 825g and 1.2kg boxes, priced at £3, £6, £8 and £12 retrospectively.

As for the old favourites returning? We can of course expect to see the gigantic Jaffa Cakes tin make a comeback.

Costing just £5, the tin is shaped (you guessed it) like a huge Jaffa Cake, and packed to the brim with snack packs to gorge on.

We'll be getting one of these for when our orange and cranberry haul runs out...

Finally, shoppers can get a Jaffa Cakes Pole (£3) - perfect to add into any Christmas stocking and filled with a whopping 40 Jaffa Cakes.

Or they can treat themselves to the McVitie's Moments Collection (£6), packed full of enrobed white, milk and dark chocolate biscuits.

All the new tasty treats will be available in stores from the 21st September.
