McDonald’s Is Giving Out Free Hamburgers All This Week

McDonald's is giving away free cheeseburgers this week to all customers who download the fast food chain's new app.

The pretty great offer opens at 10.30am on Monday 21st January and no other purchases are necessary, meaning you can just stroll on in and pick up your complimentary snack. The offer - which is running for five days - is only for one cheeseburger per customer, however.

The 301 calorie snack will usually set you back 99p.

The new My McDonald's App, available on Google Play and the App Store, allows customers to: "browse the menu in your own time, customise your order and save your favourite meals so you can order again and again at the tap of a button. No matter where you order, your food will be prepared when you arrive."

All you need to do is download the app, place your order and head to your chosen restaurant. Then, once you're close by, you'll be notified to choose your collection method: in-store, Drive Thru or table service. The restaurant will then start preparing your order right away.

This comes just days after McDonald's fans got themselves in a tizzy over the news that they are bringing back both the Galaxy McFlurry and its caramel version.

The two favourites were removed from the menu to the horror of fans of the fast food chain.

However, the treat is making a comeback for January, while the Maltesers reindeer version of the ice cream is no longer being sold.

Only available until the 30th January, the McFlurry will cost £1.29, or alternatively there's a mini version for 89p.

The fast food chain also expanded its vegetarian range for January with a new veggie wrap and Happy Meal.

Each vegetarian Happy Meal includes a toasted tortilla containing a red pesto goujon, tomato ketchup and shredded lettuce.
