It is official. McDonald's breakfast has extended and will now be available until 11am everywhere.
So now you can rock up at 10.59am to bag your last minute McMuffin, rather than 10.29am. And it is a much welcomed extra half an hour in bed on a hungover Sunday morning.
After what must have proved a successful trial period, where the store extended its breakfast hours in 122 restaurants for six weeks in the south of England, it is now being rolled out nationwide across the UK and Ireland.

The new hours will begin on Wednesday 20th November - just in time for the boozy festive season where no doubt hangovers will be rife. And let's be honest, the only good cure is a McMuffin.
And because McDonald's is available on Uber Eats, you don't even need to leave your bed to take advantage of the later time, as you can now order breakfast on the app until 10:45am instead of the usual 10.15am.
Michelle Graham-Clare, Vice President Food & Marketing at McDonald's UK and Ireland, said: "We all understand the pain of missing out on a McMuffin by a matter of minutes.

"We have listened to our customers' pleas and are delighted to extend breakfast serving time until 11am, particularly as we head into the festive season when we see a rush of latecomers searching for those all-important hash browns."
She's not wrong, our hash brown fix is vital.
But of course with all great news comes a drawback. So if you're a nugget or Big Mac lover, that of course means you also have to wait an extra half an hour until you can get your hands on the lunchtime menu.
It can prove a painful wait for some as it is, so that extra 30 minutes might be disappointing for some.

We think hash browns trump all though, so we can't wait for our next late morning fix. Thanks guys.
