If you're a Marmite lover and you thought it couldn't get any better than the new peanut butter hybrid then think again.

Marks & Spencer has now dropped a Marmite cream cheese and a Marmite-infused butter - and they're sure to divide the crowds.

Marmite devotees are guaranteed to love the tasty new products, which are available in over 400 stores nationwide today.

Meanwhile, those who hate the yeast based spread aren't likely to be too impressed to see it taking up more shelf space. To them, we simply say: sorry, not sorry.

The Marmite cream cheese costs £2.50 per 140g, and is the perfect pairing for a morning bagel, bowl of pasta or even a steaming bowl of tasty tomato soup.

A combination of cool and light cream cheese and the infamous British spread, the cheesy delight comes after the Marmite cheddar bites have been a roaring success ever since they launched back in 2007.

As it was announced on the spread's social media, the reaction was exactly as expected.

"LIFE MADE," one person wrote, tagging their pal.

While another disagreed, commenting: "Not sure about this..."

Marmite butter has also arrived in M&S (

Alongside the cheesy new addition, the Marmite butter (£3) comes in packs weighing 100g, and adds that distinctive salty taste to your toast, as well as being perfect slathered over a roast and jacket potato. Mmmm.

If you thought that was it, you'd be oh so wrong.

The M&S bakery is also getting in on the Marmite fun, rolling out a Marmite cheese twist for £1, which promises to combine the spread with mature cheddar and crisp, buttery pastry.

We're drooling.

While the Marmite and cheese twists aren't yet in stores, the retailer has promised they're going to be launched "soon" - so, that's one to keep an eye on.

We can't deal with all this new Marmite-y goodness. If you love it, like us, then you're going to want to head to M&S ASAP.
