Earlier this year we brought you the news that Marmite houmous was a thing - and now Marks & Spencer is selling Marmite Cheese.

Available in packs of 6 slices, and encased in packaging emblazoned with the Marmite logo, M&S' Marmite Cheese Slices is going straight to the top of our shopping list.

Combining the unmistakeable savoury tang of Marmite with a robust and mature cheddar cheese, the slices bring together two fan-favourite foods. Yum!

Perfect served melting and bubbly in cheese-on-toast form, for filling gooey cheese toasties, or even served on crispy jacket spuds, the Marmite Slices are a great way of adding an extra taste dimension to your fave cheesy dishes.

Shared on Marks & Spencer's Insta in a nod to the 11th week of Cheesemas (the retailer's cheese-themed Christmas countdown), the slices are described by the retail giants as 'epic'.

The caption read: "Say hello to our newest collaboration with Marmite... Marmite Cheese Slices!"

It continued: "The slices have that salty sweet marmite flavour you just can't resist - your cheese on toast will never be the same again."

Costing £2.75 per pack, Marks & Spencer's Marmite Cheese Slices are available in store now.

Elsewhere in the world of M&S' cheesemas countdown, how good does this new, award-winning and deliciously creamy Baking Camembert look?

Made at the Ascencis creamery in France, it's incredibly gooey once baked - perfect for dipping warm crusty bread into!

We'll be serving ours with olives, cold cuts, chutney and oven fresh baguettes. Mmm!

Or how about this much-loved 3-Year-Old Cornish Cruncher Vintage Chedder?

Matured for 36 months, it has a tang and bite that's unmistakable.

Marks & Spencer advise that it's "perfect with a chunky chutney and some Cornish cider." Delicious!
