Lotus Is Launching Chocolate Bars Stuffed With Biscoff Spread

Biscoff fans, we've got a new obsession for you. Lotus is launching chocolate bars and they really are the stuff of Biscoff dreams.

According to a statement from the company, there will be two different varieties - smooth and creamy milk chocolate with crunchy Biscoff chunks and milk chocolate bars packed with Biscoff spread.

And they'll be available as full size bars or in bags of mini versions.

Lotus explained: "The unique Biscoff taste forms the basis for a specially developed new range of Lotus Biscoff chocolate.

"Following the recent launch of both the Biscoff Sandwich Cookie and the new international range of Biscoff Ice Cream, the next Biscoff innovation will be launched in the second half of the year.

"The range will consist of two varieties: milk chocolate with crunchy Biscoff pieces and milk chocolate with smooth Biscoff spread filling. Both varieties will be available as bars and in a mini version."

Although the chocolate is launching in Belgium initially, it's expected it will at some point arrive in the UK. Biscoff spread and Biscoff ice cream followed a similar release schedule, so we're holding out hope on the choccies, too.

Lotus CEO Jan Boone said: "I am particularly pleased with the strength of Lotus Biscoff and the extraordinary growth that we have achieved.

"I am convinced that the introduction of our latest innovation, Biscoff Chocolate, will further boost Biscoff's global potential."

Spotted by the Snacking In Saudi Instagram page, the chocolates are expected to arrive in Belgium later this year.

"ATTENTION LOTUS NATION!" They wrote.

"You heard it here first: Lotus Belgium is making its debut in the chocolate category with a NEW Lotus Biscoff Chocolate range.

"The range will consist of two varieties: Milk Chocolate with Crunchy Biscoff pieces, and Milk Chocolate with smooth Biscoff Spread filling. Both varieties will come in bars and mini versions."

Biscoff have really outdone themselves this time!
