You Can Now Get Lindt Chocolate Spread At ASDA And We're Drooling

Chocolate spread connoisseurs, we have big news. You can now buy Lindt's hazelnut and dark chocolate spread in ASDA, as it hits UK supermarket shelves for the first time.

Yep, in case you didn't know, the Swiss chocolatier has brought out its own spread, to rival the likes of Nutella, Maltesers and Cadbury.

And it's now available in ASDA, both in a creamy hazelnut and dark chocolate variety. Mmmm.

According to Lindt Master Chocolatier Thomas Schnetzler, the Lindt hazelnut chocolate spread is made with 25 per cent roasted hazelnuts "which is more generous than many other spreads."

And they're not lying. Nutella is only 13 per cent hazelnut in comparison.

It's this extra helping of hazelnut that is said to add an "incredible flavour," which, then, mixed with cocoa, creates the "perfect blend", Thomas adds.

Described as a "luxurious creation of the finest cocoa", the darker spread is also not one to miss if you love Lindt's signature dark chocolate bars.

Both 200g tubs of spread will set you back £4.50, and are available on ASDA's website, and in select stores.

If you weren't sure whether to stray from your trusty tub of Nutella in favour of a tub of Lindt then maybe the reviews will sway you.

"Lindt chocolate spread... is everything you ever dreamed chocolate spread could be," one fan wrote on Twitter after trying it for the first time.

While another added: "Just ate an entire jar of @Lindt chocolate spread it's soooo good... and no I don't feel guilty."

"Sorry #Nutella but this does taste better," a third wrote, sharing a picture of the hazelnut spread online.

The Lindt chocolate spread has been in Europe for a while, but the UK hasn't stocked it in any supermarkets.

It previously hit UK shelves back in 2018, landing in Liverpool's Lindt shop for a brief time, and selling out instantly.

As fans hankered after the limited edition treat, it begun selling on retailers such as Amazon, and often more than doubling in price.

But worry no more, Lindt lovers - just a simple trip to ASDA and the spread is yours!
