You Can Now Get Lindor Pick And Mix At Sainsbury's

We feel like Christmas has come early.

If you are a big fan of Lindt's Lindor truffles, from next month you can pick and mix your favourites in 72 Sainsbury's stores across the country. Yes, this is for real.

No need to buy a box of all the same type of truffles and feel fed up after a few, because at the new pick and mix stands you can throw a few of each chocolate flavour in to shake things up and live your best Lindt lives.

There are 72 stores that will have the pick and mix available across the country. (

The supermarket has been trialling the installation in five stores and it's obviously gone well as now it is adding 67 more across the UK, which will be in place by December 2nd.

And if your local store has one, you will find yourself being able to choose from a variety of flavours of the Lindt chocolates, from mint, strawberry and cream, caramel, dark chococlate, mint, orange, hazelnut, white chocolate, coconut, sea salt and Stracciatella - quite the wide choice.

As ever with Lindt chocolate though, it doesn't come terribly cheap - but it is such high quality and we feel you really do get what you pay for here.

People on Facebook are getting seriously excited for the new Pick and Mix installations. (

Prices start at £3 for eight mix and matched truffles, increasing to £5 for 14 truffles or £10 for 28 truffles, which does work out pricier than selecting a pre-packed box.

Sainsbury's has a pre-packed 200g box currently priced at £5 - which typically contains 16 balls, so you are getting more for your money. And Superdrug has the pack priced at £4 for 200g, a huge saving.

Plus, stores regularly put them on offer at £3.50 a box, which would really increase bang for your buck. But it's really not as fun as pick and mix is it?

The Lindor assorted box is cheaper but you can't pick your own flavours. (

It literally makes you feel like a kid in a sweet shop, whatever your age.

Plus, even with the Lindor mixed box, you may end up with flavours you aren't keen on, whereas at least you can select all your favourites here and get the joy of doing it too - totally worth paying a little extra for.

And most people agree with us, judging by the comments found in the Money Saver Online Facebook group.

One said: "There is a Lindor pick and mix shop In Portsmouth OMG you spend a fortune so much choice.!!!!!"

Some were even considering swapping their weekly shop to Sainsbury's because of it.

One Facebook user said: "Oh my, Cail - we may have to permanently shop at Sainsbury's if this happens in Haywards Heath xx".

Another user's comment went down a storm who jokily suggested creating a Lindt ball pit.

They said: "Ooooooh yes please.... Can they make it as a ball pit.... I'll be in "Paradise"".

This stand follows in the footsteps of John Lewis and Quality Street, who team up at Christmas to offer a tin filled with your favourite flavours that is then personalised with your name.

We do love a festive gimmick, especially when it involves chocolate.

Tyla has contacted Sainsbury's to ask which stores will have the pick and mix stands and is waiting for a reply - we will update you as soon as we know.
