While we wait for the nation's favourite bakery to reopen, one fan has handily posted a recipe for how to make the twisted doughnuts at home.
Posted by TikTok foodie @caughtsnackin, the simple recipe requires just 150g strong white flour, 25g melted butter, 1 egg, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tbsp caster sugar, 7g instant yeast and 70ml warm water for the dough and 1/2 cup of icing sugar and 2 tbsp water for the glaze.
It may not be real Greggs but it's as close as we're going to get right now, so we'll take it.
