Swedish drinks giants Kopparberg have long been a staple of our summers thanks to their full-flavoured ciders - and now the brand is expanding its repertoire with a delicious-sounding cherry-spiced rum.
Available at ASDA stores nationwide from 22nd June 2020, Kopparberg Cherry Spiced Rum infuses a deep, spiced rum with bold and bright cherry fruit flavours and is priced at £20 for a 70cl bottle.
The new spirit - which clocks in at 37.5% ABV - has the added benefit of being vegan-friendly and GF, and is said to work a treat with a generous splash of ice-cold fizzy cola and a lime wedge.

Handily, Kopparberg created a premixed, on-the-go version too.
The Cherry Rum & Cola 250ml ready-to-drink cans - released alongside the 70cl bottle - are just right for park drinks on a hot day.
Taking inspiration from "the animals that come alive at night in the dark Swedish forests surrounding the town of Kopparberg", the new drinks mark the brand's first move into the realms of rum.

Cans are available in packs of 4 in a 250ml size for £6.
The move follows a surge in popularity of rum and rum-based cocktails, such as the Mojito.

Described as being made for "warm summer evenings" when the "energy and music builds", it's a fruit and refreshing tipple for a socially distanced drinks gathering.
Fancy mixing your own? Apparently, the perfect serving ratio is 50ml of Kopparberg Cherry Spiced Rum over ice in a tall glass, with cola mixer of choice, and a lime wedge to garnish.
