Kopparberg has launched a new, pear-flavoured gin - and it sounds delicious.

The limited edition tipple provides the ultimate throwback (as Kopparberg fans will know, pear was the refreshing flavour that made the brand famous 20 years ago) and will be exclusively available in Morrisons.

It'll be available at Morrisons (

Kopparberg explain the new and improved pear gin is best served over "mountains of ice" with lemonade and a slice of pear - or even in a punchy cocktail for the ultimate autumnal tipple. Yum.

Over the next few weeks, the brand will also be posting some tasty cocktail recipes across its social media channel, explaining there'll be plenty of recipes to "warm up chillier evenings and inspiration to see you through the autumn".

Rob Salvesen, Head of Marketing at Kopparberg said: "When we launched Kopparberg Pear Cider back in 1999, it completely transformed the way drinkers enjoyed cider and revolutionised the cider market in the UK as we know it.

"Pear was the flavour that made this brand famous, and as we continue to delight fans with our spirits range, we're proud to be going full circle, bringing the renowned crisp pear taste to our premium gin range.

"We can't wait to give something back to Kopparberg fans who have been waiting for this, and gin drinkers who will love this new take on a traditional gin.

"Kopparberg Pear Gin is here for a limited time only and we expect it to be hugely popular this season, so make sure you grab a bottle whilst it's still on shelves."

The pear gin will be available from tomorrow, Wednesday 7th October in Morrisons stores, and will be priced at £20 per 70cl bottle, with a 37.5 per cent ABV.

But as the tipple is limited edition, it won't be around for long - so if you do want to get your hands on it you best be quick!
