You just know you have a good collaboration on your hands when the name even alliterates. How does a KitKat Krispy Kreme sound to you?

Yes, brace yourselves as the two-fingered chocolate bar and the iconic doughnut brand have got together to make the first ever KitKat Krispy Kreme.

The collab - which has been heavily teased online - launches nationwide on Monday 26th, just in time for the bank holiday. And it's not even just one doughnut to get excited about: the KitKat Krispy Kreme includes a milk chocolate AND a white chocolate version.

The delicious creations see Krispy Kreme's iconic glazed originals dipped in either milk or white chocolate and sprinkled with KitKat's wafer and chocolate filling and finished with a mini KitKat on top.

Sound amazing don't they?

The doughnuts cost £1.90 and will be available in Krispy Kreme stores.

While most of us will have to wait until Monday to try the treats, Krispy Kreme are holding launch parties in some of their Drive Thru stores at midnight on Sunday 25th August.

The first person through the drive through at midnight will receive a super-sized box of the new doughnuts shaped like a classic KitKat. The following 11 will received a complimentary limited edition box of a dozen doughnuts. Worth staying up for or what?

The stores participating are Bristol, Edinburgh, Enfield, Gateshead, Leeds, Manchester, Peterborough and Shannon Corner.

The launch has been heavily teased by both brands who have been engaging in some brand-on-brand social media banter.

KitKat first challenged Krispy Kreme to a noughts and crosses match (noughts being the doughnuts, crosses being the KitKat sticks - keep up!) then Krispy Kreme shared a video attempting to stick a glazed original into a KitKat branded mug of hot chocolate.

The brands then shared an email exchange arranging a meet up, and the biggest giveaway was a video from KitKat which showed the foil of the chocolate bar being rubbed down to reveal the Krispy Kreme logo in place of the classic KitKat one.

Whether you head to a Drive Thru this Sunday or not, don't leave it too long to get your hands on a doughnut as they're only available until 13th October.

These sound too good to miss...
