KFC Is Bringing Back Its Legendary Double Down Burger For A Limited Time
The bad news is, it's only going to be back for six weeks.
The breadless burger was especially popular among those looking to cut down on carbs as it uses two pieces of chicken fillets instead of a bun. Genius! These come sandwiched with crispy bacon, Monterey Jack cheese and BBQ sauce. Yum.
Chicken lovers will be able to get their hands on the burger from tomorrow, Monday October 5th, and seeing as it's not been on the menu since 2018, we think that's a pretty momentous occasion.
It's available exclusively via Uber Eats until November 15th, so we recommend you make the most of it while you can.
A single sandwich will set you back just £4.99, while it's £5.99 for a meal with fries and a drink. If you're really hungry, opt for the Double Down burger boxmeal, which comes with fries, a drink plus an extra pieces of Original Recipe chicken for £7.49.
Keep in mind you'll have to pay extra for Uber Eats delivery, too.

KFC announced the exciting news in a statement, saying: "Goes without saying 2020 has been pretty fowl. We've all had a long, hard year... and it's not over yet.
"So over here at KFC HQ, we've been plotting and scheming - trying to find ways to bring a little joy to 2020 (it needs it). And we reckon if there's one thing the nation has been chirping out for, it's the return of a legendary fried chicken classic.
"Enter KFC's Double Down - the iconic bunless burger of your dreams. For those in the back, it features crispy bacon, melted cheese and barbeque sauce, all sandwiched between two succulent Original Recipe chicken fillets."
