We all have memories of downing Jägerbombs on a sticky-floored nightclub and vowed to never go back to the German liqueur after that one night that ended with our heads down the toilet. Just us?
Anyway, the brand behind the drink, Jägermeister, may have just offered our teenage selves an olive branch with the launch of a classy new offering: Jägermeister Cold Brew Coffee.

An adult update on the classic drink sees the recipe of 56 herbs and spices infused with cold-brewed Arabica coffee and a hint of cocoa. Our 16-year-old selves would be proud.
The new tipple is designed to be drank as a shot rather than a long drink and it HAS to be ice cold: -18°C and straight from the freezer is recommended.
The caffeine rich drink is 33 per cent ABV (alcohol by volume - the standard measure of booziness) which is two per cent less than the original.

From the end of October, Jägermeister Cold Brew Coffee will be available in selected Morrisons stores and off licenses nationwide for £18 for a 50cl bottle. You can also buy a limited edition Jägermeister Cold Brew Coffee gift pack from the Jäger eshop for £24.99 including free delivery.
Tim Hawley, UK Innovation Controller, commented on the launch, saying: "We've been developing Jägermeister Cold Brew Coffee for a number of years, working alongside expert baristas, roasters and barmen through many iterations to create a perfectly balanced fusion of original Jägermeister, the punch of roasted coffee and just a nod towards bitter chocolate. We're really excited to see it realised and launching."
"Jägermeister Cold Brew Coffee is perfect for moments of celebration in or out of the home, offering an intricate coffee flavour profile complemented by the classic Jägermeister taste - served perfectly as an ice-cold shot."

Not going to lie, we might be back on the Jägers after this.
