When it comes to making a burrito, we never seem to get the folding right. But now, one person on TikTok has revealed the correct way to fold the tortilla - and it's so easy.

Why have we never done it this way before?! You can watch the clip below:

"I was today years old when I learned how to properly fold a burrito," the user, who goes by @f0hnzie on TikTok, explained.

"You fold the sides twice to pinch the ends, it's a hexagon, not a rectangle."

The TikToker can be seen adding plenty of filling to the wrap, before pinching both sides inwards and rolling into a hexagon shape.

And they make it look so easy!

Other users were loving the technique in the comments, with some sharing their own tips and tricks about how to make the perfect burrito.

One person commented: "And if you warm it up a bit before, it will be stretchy and won't rip if there are a lot of toppings!"

Genius.

Others begged to know the recipe, which the user explained was a combo' of grilled chicken, stir fry, cheese, avocado, cilantro, lime and guacamole salsa.

Yum!

In other TikTok news, did you know there's a correct way to fold a fajita too?

One TikTok user, known as @thefoldinglady, explained she'd been taught how to fold the wrap by fellow user @mealswithmax.

She begins by placing the wrap down and adding the filling, spaced out evenly across the tortilla. Next, she folds both sides of the wrap inwards before rolling from the bottom which creates a neat, rectangular shape.

The wrap can then be cut in half and voila! The perfect fajita with no spillages! And it stays in place.

We really are learning so much from TikTok these days...
