Heinz Beanz Protein Pot: Heinz Launches New Microwavable Breakfast In A Pot

Heinz has officially launched a brand new microwavable breakfast pot, and its the perfect lazy girl's morning meal.

Whether you're squeezing in some food while tight on time or simply don't have the energy to cook first thing, the Heinz Beanz Protein Pots are the perfect solution to ensure you get a healthy start to the day, which fills you up and boosts your energy.

Each Classic pot is packed full of beans, spinach, sausage and scrambled egg, and all you need to do to prepare it is place it in the microwave for two minutes 45 seconds.

At 235 calories per serving, the pot has14.6g of protein and is also high in fibre and low in sugar.

You can find the 230g pots in the chilled on-the-go aisles in Asda and Tesco right now, as they landed yesterday (January 4th).

And if you're a fan, the good news is there are more delicious varieties of the pots due to launch later this year.

Emily Wright, Junior Brand Manager at Kraft Heinz, said: "Our all-new Heinz Beanz Protein Pot is the perfect on-the-go breakfast or ideal for those looking for a delicious and quick breakfast or lunch option.

The pot has a RRP of £2.50 - though price may vary from store to store.

In other beany news, Costa has launched a new, limited edition menu, and the star of the show is a mouthwatering Heinz Beans and Cheese Toastie.

Warming up a pretty bleak January, the toasted sarnie is packed full of Heinz Baked Beanz and lashings of melted mature cheddar cheese.

Costa say it "delivers the ultimate comforting toastie delight" with the coffee gurus describing it as "the must-have toastie [for] this cold and dark January!" Just look at it...
