Forget your usual pigs in blankets: a delicious halloumi version is coming to Aldi and it looks incredible.
There's nothing quite as tasty as warm freshly cooked halloumi, in all its warm, salty glory - but wrapped in bacon just elevates things to the next level.
Yes, that's right, the sausage has been swapped out for halloumi and we're 100 per cent OK with it.
We just didn't think anything could make Christmas dinner any better and then Aldi goes and drops these halloumi in blankets as part of its newly unveiled festive line.
But they don't need to be reserved just for Christmas Day, these bitesize snacks that will set you back just £2.49, will work well at all your festive events.
Serve them up with wine at your Christmas Eve party, or at the big family get-together, just make sure you buy plenty of boxes or you'll have angry guests on your hands if they don't get a look in.
They are not currently available to buy on the Aldi website, but you can get them in store from December 5th, just in time for all those drinks and nibbles parties.
Not convinced by cheese in blankets? Don't worry, because as part of its Christmas range, the store has also unveiled a six foot long pig in a blanket, £4.99 - the ideal centre piece for meat-loving families.
It seems there is fierce competition for the standard pig in blanket this year, although if you're a traditionalist, you may not love the sound of these wild new offerings and prefer to stick to what you know.
Personally, we think they are all essential to create the ultimate Christmas dinner, but we're just greedy.
And these aren't the only two products to be added to the Christmas range. Aldi is also set to unveil a vegan wreath centrepiece, salted caramel bombe, hot buttered rum bombe, pavlova stack, golden twist sticky toffee pudding, ballycastle caramel and hazelnut cream.
We're salivating just thinking about it all. Please hurry festive season.
