With summer just around there corner, we're thinking about the tipples we can enjoy from isolation in our backgardens - and Gordons has come through with the goods.

The UK's leading gin brand has just launched a brand new flavour just in time for the warmer months: Mediterranean Orange.

For a limited time only, the new distilled gin promises a zesty orange flavour, made by pairing the classic Gordon's gin with sumptuous Mediterranean oranges.

According to Gordons: "It boasts fresh orange notes that perfectly complement the juniper and refreshing taste of Gordon's, creating a delicious G&T alternative for those stopping and enjoying a moment in the summer."

Sounds great, right?

Gordon recommends serving the gin in a glass filled with fresh ice cubes. Simply pour 50ml of Gordon's Mediterranean Orange Distilled Gin over the ice and top up with chilled tonic.

To finish off this ideal summer tipple, add a wedge of orange and - if you have it - a sprig of fresh rosemary, before giving it a stir.

You can find the limited edition bottle in selected off licences from April 6th and in Tescos from the later date of May 26th.

In other booze-related news, you can now get magnums of prosecco delivered to your door to antidote your isolation.

Yes, Wine Buyers - which dubs itself an "exclusive wine and champagne club" - is now shipping wines and spirits straight to you.

The Nani Rizzi Prosecco Superiore Valdobbiadene Brut (on its website here) will set you back £24.23 and is 150cl - so that's two bottles in one.

Before you shop, you just need to sign up to the club (which is free). Be aware however that shipping costs widely vary and while the site says it doesn't make commission on the wine itself, some of the delivery costs aren't cheap.

Perfect for the bank hols weekend, don't you think?
