Ferrero Rocher Ice Cream Collection Is Coming To The UK

It appears that big news is on the horizon from Ferrero Rocher HQ, as the indulgent chocolate balls have been turned into an ice cream collection.

Expected to be landing on UK shelves this summer, the ice creams on sticks will be sold in three flavours - white Raffaello, Classic and Dark.

Like the Ferrero balls, each tasty ice cream will have hazelnut laced through its shell. The classic option will be made from a delicious milk chocolate ice cream with swirls of chocolate drizzled through it, while the dark will be the same but with a dark chocolate coating and swirls.

The Raffaello version will be flavoured with white chocolate and coconut. Yum.

Food blogger NewFoodsUK shared the news of the ice cream's imminent arrivals on Instagram recently, writing: "Confirmed!! Ferrero Rocher Ice Cream Sticks are coming to the UK this summer" - and it's safe to say people were excited.

"Heaven on a stick," wrote one in the comments.

While another tagged a pal and penned: "Your cup of tea".

It comes not long after Ferrero recently told Confectionery Production that they were working on rolling out three ice cream sticks across Europe.

At the time, they added that they'll be available in five countries this spring, then rolling out further nationwide.

Fellow blogger John's Snack Reviews was one of the first to leak the news, which has now officially been confirmed by Ferrero. The ice cream brand have since announced the lollies will be released around August/September of this year.

While they are yet to reveal stockists, John says he has it on good authority that Asda and Iceland will launch the ice creams first, before they land in supermarkets.

Those in Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Austria are lucky enough to already have the lollies on shelves in their supermarkets.

Summer just got a whole lot more delicious here in the UK!
