You Can Now Get Drumstick Chocolate

When you need a hit of sugar there's nothing more satisfying than chewing on a sweet, tangy Drumstick.

Now, lovers of the lollipop are able to eat it in chocolate form too.

Yes, in the hybrid we never thought we needed, Swizzels has launched a Drumstick Chocolate bar which sees a raspberry and milk centre coated in milk chocolate.

First spotted on Kevs Snack Reviews, the bars are currently available in Home Bargains for 99p.

Despite making a seemingly good pairing (Drumstick = good, chocolate = good), the idea of the new bar has attracted some very mixed opinions.

"What is this sorcery?," commented one.

"As much as I like a drumstick I don't really think they could go together with chocolate... I could be wrong though," said another.

"Not sure how I feel about this but I think I need to try it," said another, speaking for the people.

While another added: "I cant decide whether that looks amazing or disgusting."

Others were less open, with one saying: "This sounds rank, right!?"

While we wait to try it for ourselves, New Foods UK tasted the bar and gave their verdict - and it's super, super positive.

"We didn't know what to expect with this bar, but oh boy, we are in love!! It has a beautiful milk & raspberry center, covered in milk chocolate. It's like a raspberry cream bar - exactly like a Drumstick, it's beautiful!!!," they said.

"Hats off to @swizzels_sweets what a creation! Can't wait to see what they create next!"
