Whoever said it was too early for Easter food, is wrong.

Creme Egg fans, rejoice! Morrisons has just started stocking Creme Egg ice creams and we're drooling just thinking about them.

The very important update was brought to us by the @Newfoodsuk Instagram page, which posted about the treats last week.

The Creme Egg flavoured ice cream features a gooey, fondant centre topped with chunky Cadbury chocolate chips.

Wrapped in a thick and crunchy cone, the ice creams have had some very impressive reviews already, with the @Newfoodsuk account claiming they have a "generous" fondant filling - which is exactly what we like to hear.

Available at Morrisons stores for £3 for a pack of four, (although not yet online) shoppers reckon they'll also please fans of McDonald's Creme Egg McFlurry.

Another shopper called them "the dream" while others pointed out they're also available at Co-op.

Chocolate fans will be pleased to know the ice cream cones aren't the only Creme Egg treats up for grabs this year.

In fact, heaps of Creme Egg products have been released over the last few weeks, including Creme Egg Choc Cakes and cupcakes.

The ice creams are priced at £3 for a pack of four (

The chocolate treats have a mouthwatering, gooey centre, topped with a swirl of vanilla frosting and finished with a sprinkling of Cadbury milk chocolate shards.

Meanwhile, Cadbury has released its Creme Egg trifle for the third year in a row.

The gigantic dessert is aptly named 'Layers of Joy' and features layer upon layer of chocolate mousse, cookies and a milk chocolate base.

It's then finished with cream and a gooey fondant topping.

It's a good job Easter is still three months away because we've got a LOT to get through...
